Cohort-based programs allow you to deliver structured learning experiences with a defined start and end date, enabling learners to progress together in a guided format. Follow the steps below to set up and launch your cohort program in FreshLearn.

Step 1: Create a New Course

  1. Navigate to the Product section.
  2. Select Courses and click on Create Course.
  3. Choose Start Building Manually.
  4. Select Cohort as the course type.

Step 2: Configure Cohort Details

  1. Enter a title and description for your program.
  2. Set the start date and end date for the cohort.
  3. Define the number of participants.
  4. Upload a thumbnail image.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Step 3: Add Chapters and Sessions

1. Click Edit on Chapter 1 to begin.

2. Choose the session type:

    • In-person
    • Virtual
    • Zoom meeting link

3. Set the start and end time for the session.

4. Click Publish.

You can continue adding more chapters with different content types such as:

    • Video
    • Audio
    • Documents
    • Embedded content
    • Quizzes
    • Assignments

Step 4: Add Video Content

  1. Select the option to upload a video file.
  2. Upload your pre-recorded video.
  3. Click Publish to add it to the chapter.

Repeat these steps to build out all modules and chapters as needed.

Step 5: Set Pricing

1. Go to the Pricing section.

2. Click Add Plan.

3. Choose a pricing model:

    • Free
    • One-time payment
    • Recurring subscription

4. Click Save.

Step 6: Publish and Share

  1. Click Publish to make your cohort live.
  2. Copy the generated enrollment link.
  3. Share the link with your audience.

Learners can enroll through the checkout page, log in, and access the cohort from their dashboard.

Step 7: Learner Experience

  • Learners can join sessions directly from their dashboard.
  • After completing a session, they can mark it as complete.
  • Progress is tracked across chapters.

Step 8: Access Cohort Reports

  1. Go to the Report section.
  2. Select Cohort Attendance.
  3. View attendance by product and date.
  4. Click on a cohort to see:
    • Completion rates
    • Member details (emails, enrollment dates)
    • Attendance records
