Enable and Set Up Course AI

 

Course AI in FreshLearn allows you to enhance your courses with intelligent, real-time assistance for learners. It analyzes your course content including videos, PDFs, and audio to provide instant answers, summaries, and guidance, making learning more interactive and accessible.

 

Follow this step-by-step guide to enable and configure Course AI.

 

Step 1: Enable Course AI in AI Studio

  1. Navigate to the AI Studio section from your dashboard
  2. Click on "Enable Course AI"
  3. The system will begin processing your course content (videos, PDFs, and audio)

Important: Before enabling Course AI, ensure that the Captions Agent is already turned on for your course.

  1. Click Enable Now to proceed.

Step 2: Customize the AI Widget

After enabling Course AI, you can customize the AI widget to match your preferences:

  • Edit the widget name
  • Add a welcome message
  • Update the subtitle
  • Change the widget color
  • Adjust the widget position (left or right side of the screen)

Once done, click Enable Course to save and activate your settings.

Step 3: Enable Course AI for Selected Courses

  1. Click on the Course AI icon
  2. Select the courses where you want to enable Course AI
    • You can choose up to 5 courses
  3. Click Enable Course AI to confirm

Course AI will now be activated for your selected courses.

Step 4: Enable Course AI Inside a Course

  1. Go to Products → Courses
  2. Open the course where you want to use Course AI
  3. Click Enable for Members to make it accessible to learners

You can also click Preview to test how the AI responds to learner questions.

Step 5: View Course AI from Member Side

  1. Open the Member Portal
  2. Log in as a student
  3. Open a course where Course AI is enabled

You will see the AI widget on the side of the screen.

Members can:

  • Ask questions directly
  • Choose options like “Summarize this lesson”
  • Get detailed answers based on course content
