  1. Public Groups
  2. Private Groups
  3. Secret Groups

1. Creating a Public Group

A Public Group allows all members of the community to see posts without needing to join the group.

Steps to Create a Public Group:

1. Navigate to Community Groups

2. Click on Create Group

3. Enter the following details:

  • Group Name
  • Group Description
  • Set Group Discoverability to Public

4. Adjust Member Permissions to enable or disable restrictions.

5. Click Save

6. A free plan is automatically assigned to public groups, making it accessible to all community members.

 

2. Creating a Private Group

A Private Group is visible to all community members, but its posts can only be accessed by those who manually join the group.

Steps to Create a Private Group:

1. Navigate to Community Groups

2. Click on Create Group

3. Enter the following details:

  • Group Name
  • Group Description
  • Set Group Discoverability to Private

4. Click Save

5 If you want to sell access to the private group:

  • Create a Paid Plan (one-time or subscription-based)
  • Generate a Checkout URL to share with potential members.

 

3. Creating a Secret Group

A Secret Group is completely hidden from all community members except for those manually added by the admin.

Steps to Create a Secret Group:

1. Navigate to Community Groups

2. Click on Create Group

3. Enter the following details:

  • Group Name
  • Group Description
  • Set Group Discoverability to Secret

4. Click Save

5. Only admins can manually add members to this group.

6. If you want to sell access to the Secret group:

  • Create a Paid Plan (one-time or subscription-based)
  • Generate a Checkout URL to share with potential members.
